Then, to my horror, all the lights in my room went out, plunging me into complete darkness. I could feel my blanket being tugged at, and the sensation was so real that I was on the verge of fainting.
Just as the terror reached its peak, the electricity flickered back on. The room was bathed in light, and I quickly looked around to find the source of my fear. There, sitting calmly on my bed, was a cat. It stared at me with wide, curious eyes. Realizing what had happened, I let out a sigh of relief.
