(i) A driver lost control of his/her car and caused a massive pile-up of cars on a busy road near your home. Describe the scene of disaster. What did you and other passersby do to help the injured?
Answer:- It was a hot summer night, and I was lying on the terrace, enjoying the cool breeze as the city slowly quieted down. The peacefulness was suddenly shattered by the sound of a loud crash. I jumped to my feet and rushed to the edge of the terrace, looking down into the street. My heart skipped a beat when I saw what had happened.
A large bus, apparently carrying a marriage party, had crashed into a tree. The scene was chaotic. The bus was heavily damaged, and I could hear faint cries of distress coming from inside. The marriage party, which had been filled with excitement and joy just moments ago, was now in the midst of disaster. The driver had apparently lost control of the bus after his attention had been diverted, causing the vehicle to veer off course and crash.
Without hesitation, I rushed down to the street to help. When I arrived at the scene, several neighbors were already there, trying to assist the injured. The air was filled with the sounds of crying women and children, and the chaos was overwhelming. Some people were trapped inside the bus, while others had managed to escape but were lying on the ground, injured and in pain.
I immediately went to work, helping people out of the wreckage. Some had minor injuries, while others were in more serious condition. I did what I could to help, using the basic first-aid knowledge I had to treat wounds and stop the bleeding of those with cuts and bruises. One woman had a broken arm, and I helped her sit down while we waited for help to arrive.
The scene was heart-wrenching, but it was also inspiring to see how everyone around me pitched in. Passersby stopped their cars and rushed to assist, and together we managed to get the most seriously injured into cars and send them to the nearby hospital. Those who were less hurt were given food, water, and a place to rest while we waited for the emergency services to arrive.
The entire night was spent helping the injured and ensuring that everyone had a safe place to stay. The police and medical personnel arrived shortly after, taking over the situation and providing the necessary care for the injured. Although the event was tragic, I felt a sense of pride in how the community came together to support those in need. It was a reminder of the strength and compassion that can emerge in times of crisis.
(II) Narrate an incident which taught you that you lead a charmed life when compared to others.

The collapse occurred when a beam carried by a labourer accidentally struck the shuttering, causing it to slip and eventually collapse. CCTV footage of the incident revealed the tragic moment when a worker attempting to fix the shuttering led to the disaster. The workers, who were carrying out construction work on the under-construction building, were trapped under the rubble, sparking a massive rescue operation.
Throughout the cold night, rescue teams worked tirelessly to clear the debris and carefully pull the workers to safety. Despite the tense and challenging situation, there were no fatalities reported, and all the trapped workers were successfully rescued. Following the operation, the rescued workers were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for medical care, and their condition is reported to be stable.
District Magistrate Shubhrant Kumar Shukl visited the site early on Sunday morning and expressed relief at the successful rescue operation. He commended the efforts of the rescue teams and expressed gratitude for the swift response from the authorities.
