The structure of the building was slowly rising. The concrete frame, pillars, and floors were being built step by step. Some workers were seen fixing tiles, while others were plastering the walls or cutting pipes and iron bars using loud machines. The sound of drilling, hammering, and shouting filled the air.
In one corner of the site, there were small tents made of cloth and plastic. These were the homes of the workers who lived there with their families. I saw children playing near the tents, women cooking food on small stoves, and some people resting after their work shift. These workers stay at the site till the project is finished, often facing harsh weather and long hours.
Though the construction site looked chaotic and noisy, there was something beautiful about it. It showed teamwork, hard work, and progress. It was a place where lines drawn on paper slowly turned into real walls, floors, and roofs. It was the place where someone’s dream home or office was being built.
