Another humorous incident was when some of my classmates would pretend to be sick to avoid doing homework or taking a test. Of course, the rest of us could see through their act, which often led to a chorus of laughter. The entire class would joke about it, teasing the “sick” student until they had to admit the truth.

So, we decided to teach him a lesson with a prank. My friends and I came up with a plan to replace his lunch with something unexpected. We took his lunch and secretly put a live frog inside his lunchbox. When he opened it to eat, the frog leapt out, landing directly on his hand. He was so startled that he jumped up, causing the entire class to burst into laughter. Even though he was initially shocked, he soon joined in the laughter, and from that moment on, he became part of our group.

These moments, along with many others, made school life unforgettable. They weren’t just about the jokes or pranks, but also about the friendships we built through these shared experiences. Each incident, big or small, brought us closer together, leaving us with memories that we will cherish forever. I knew how much it meant to my cousin and her family, and I couldn’t let my lateness ruin the occasion.

Determined to make it to the ceremony on time, I decided to take an alternate route. However, my troubles didn’t end there. As I approached the new road, I found it completely blocked due to a political rally that had unexpectedly shut down all traffic. Frustrated, I had no choice but to turn back and try the original route again. At this point, I was feeling a mix of annoyance and disappointment. I was so close but yet so far from my destination.

I finally reached the venue, but by the time I arrived, the ceremony had already ended. My cousin, who had been waiting anxiously for my arrival, was understandably upset with me. I could see the anger in her eyes, and I immediately apologized, explaining the difficult situation I had faced on my way to the event. I told her about the traffic jam, the accident, and the unexpected rally that delayed me further.

To my relief, my cousin, though still a little angry, understood the difficulties I had to go through to attend her engagement. She forgave me, and though I had missed the main event, I was still able to share some time with her and the family. The final outcome of my visit was not as I had hoped, but the experience taught me the importance of patience and the unpredictable nature of life. In the end, despite the challenges, I was grateful that I could be there for my cousin, even if only for a short while.
